About the event
Vinilious Showcase SXSW 2025 is a live music event that will entail a 6-7 artist lineup of mainly female-fronted artists from countries including Argentina, France, Mexico and Venezuela. The tentative lineup is Daniela Spalla (Argentina/1.5mil Spotify monthly listeners), Las Ligas Menores (Argentina/757k mo. listeners), Juniore (France/241k mo. listeners), Barbara Doza (Venezuela/152k mo. listeners), Los Eclipses (France/Mexico/109k mo. listeners), Babas Tutsipop (Mexico/69.6k mo. listeners).
Why should you sponsor?
Vinilious was created and is run by Celeste Cadena and Kristen Ibarra, an educator and speech therapist who share a love of music and art. We largely support female, Latinx, local, lgbtq+ and allied aritists and we have been producing live music events where we include all female live painters and local artisans and vendors. We are proud to have the opportunity to invest in our community.
Kristen IbarraVinilious is made up of Celeste Cadena, an educator with San Antonio ISD for 16+ years, and Kristen Ibarra, a speech therapist with Easter Seal Rehab Center--Early Childhood Intervention. We were born and raised in San Antonio, TX and we take after our grandparents who each owned and ran small stores on the west side of the city. We come from a family of educators as well, who strongly supported and fostered the arts within the schools while working in the education system.
