About the event

I'm excited to share that I'm working on bringing back a beloved university tradition—the Homecoming Bonfire! Our aim is to boost school spirit, bring our community closer together, and celebrate football season in a fun, festive way by reviving this classic event. Most importantly, we want to create a warm, welcoming, and safe environment where everyone can feel comfortable, secure, and excited to be part of the celebration.

We hope to bring students, alumni, staff, and community members together in a spirited and safe setting that really highlights our university pride and fosters campus camaraderie. Hi! I'm Ebony Turner, the Game Day Operations and Event Manager with the University of La Verne Athletics Department. I’m proud to be a two-time alum of this amazing university, and I truly love helping to build a strong, spirited community here.
