About the event
The Glamour Gala Fashion Show and Art Exhibit, organized by Melissa Sade’s Designs and K&B Solutions, aims to celebrate black creatives in the Pittsburgh area while raising awareness and funds for the Youth Enrichment Association (YEA). Scheduled for December 29, 2024, at the August Wilson African American Center, this event will provide paid opportunities for participants and create exposure for local artists, designers, and entertainers. Contributions from sponsors, donors, and grants are crucial to achieving our goals and ensuring the event's success.
The Glamour Gala is a celebration of African American creativity and culture. The event will feature a fashion show showcasing local designers, live performances from talented artists, and an art exhibit displaying works from regional artists. Attendees will enjoy a rich cultural experience in a safe and inclusive environment.

At The Glamour Gala our main goal is setting a standard for valuing our creative community. We want to provide a paid opportunities for participants (designers, models and live performers)
Within the last few years I have seen so many creative individuals leaving the fashion scene, closing their business simply giving up on their dreams due to lack of assistance, representations, and little to no success. I believe it's time to start creating safe haven for our community.
