StockMates US Stock Market Challenge

A 3 month stock market trading game for UK players, using real New York stock market data. Players trade a virtual portfolio at live US market prices, with no real money at risk, and can pick their own stocks or let their AI Mate trade for them.

- Format: 3 month game with live weekly, monthly and overall leaderboards
- Market: real US stock prices (NYSE and Nasdaq), traded during US market hours
- Players: adults aged 18+, capped at 100 players
- Prizes: cash prizes for the top players, paid in pounds
- Skill based: players set their own strategy and risk settings, or trade manually

Sponsors appear on the site and leaderboard throughout the game, with higher tiers getting game branding and naming. Launching in beta, so founding partners get launch rates locked in.

About Mark Oddi, founder of StockMates

I'm Mark Oddi, the founder and developer of StockMates. Over the last 8 months I have designed and built the whole platform myself, including the trading engine, the AI Mates and the website.

I bring over 20 years of experience in startups and software development, plus 2 years working hands-on with AI. StockMates uses a large language model (LLM) to power the AI Mates, and I keep improving it as the platform grows, so players get smarter, clearer trading help over time.

I started StockMates to make investing less intimidating. It gives people a risk-free way to learn how markets work, compete for real cash prizes and get AI help that explains every trade in plain English.

StockMates is run by Intelitrade Ltd (Companies House no. 17447548), registered in England and Wales. Because I build and run it directly, sponsors deal with the person making the decisions.
