  • About the event

    declutter

    Why should you sponsor?

    Dear Sirs,

We are writing to introduce our community project — an event centered around second-hand goods, where individuals can sell their pre-loved items, declutter their homes, and build meaningful relationships with others in the community. Our goal is to create a warm, supportive space that encourages sustainability, connection, and mutual support.

We are two mothers who are coming together to help the community as well as ourselves by bringing this initiative to life. One of us is a cancer patient navigating the daily challenges of treatment, and the other is a single mother whose husband recently passed away, leaving behind two young children with no financial support. We are both currently struggling with day-to-day life, and through our hardships, we have learned the importance of community, resilience, and hope.

We believe that someone’s unwanted items can become someone else’s treasure. Decluttering is more than cleaning — it helps clear our homes, lighten our burdens, and free our minds. We also believe that building community and forming relationships outside of our comfort zones is essential for our mental wellbeing, especially during difficult chapters of life.

    Our event offers:

    • A platform for families to earn from items they no longer need

    • An affordable way for others to purchase quality second-hand goods

    • A welcoming environment to connect, uplift one another, and form new friendships

    • A positive step toward sustainability and mindful living

We kindly seek your partnership and sponsorship to help bring this project to life. Your support will enable us to cover essential event costs and ensure we can create an inclusive, meaningful experience for everyone involved.

By supporting us, you are not only helping two mothers who are trying to rebuild their lives, but also investing in a community-driven, environmentally conscious initiative that uplifts the entire community through compassion, connection, and purpose.

We would be honored to discuss this further and explore how we can collaborate in a way that benefits both your organization and the community.

Thank you for considering our request.

    Warm regards,

    Nilofar Sidiqi
