About the event

The event will be centered around paying tribute to the gospel legends that have paved the way for so many young and upcoming young artist. Some of the younger artist have never had the opportunity to witness the glorious sounds of the ones they admire. We will assemble the 6 of the artist that will represent these legends.

This event will also recognize the student in the local area that have exceled in their studies. We would like to be able to present a check to the student that has the highest gpa.

Supporting an event that honors legends will build a connection to the community and demonstrates your commitment to giving back. This is especially relevant becuase the event supports a cause, such as scholarships.

Michael Palmer

I am a former musician for a lendary artist (Willie Neal Johnson of Tyler, Tx) that transitioned in 2001. As a child, I remember listening to his music and being inspired to chase my dream of being a professional musician. Growing up in a home where my Grandparents were both ministers, a small town where gospel music plays a major part of our households, I wanted to be a part of something that allowed me to help someone on their spiritual journey.

I've never had to spend time in jail, I've never made my parents endure watching me in a courtroom waitingto be sentenced for a crime. I'm a upstanding  father of one son, and I've never been arrsted for stealing. I say all of this to say that I love my community and the people that make up our community.
