  • About the event

F1 in Schools is an international STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) challenge where high school students design, analyze, manufacture, test and race a miniature Formula 1 car powered by a compressed carbon dioxide cartridge. The challenge encompasses various aspects of engineering, project management, coding, marketing, and financial strategy. Students in over 50 countries work in teams to navigate the entire process of car development, mirroring the operations of a real Formula 1 team, whcih fosters skills such as collaboration, problem-solving, and innovation. Teams have the opportunity to go to regional, national, and even globals competitions where they are judged on the car, brand identity, the team portfolio, and pit display.
