Dromana Fundraising Ladies Incorporated is proudly celebrating 10 years of fundraising, friendship and community spirit with our 10th Anniversary Community Fundraising Event on Saturday 27 February 2027 at Ashcombe Maze & Lavender Gardens on the beautiful Mornington Peninsula.

We are delighted to welcome special guest Tracy Bevan, co-founder of the McGrath Foundation and Jane McGrath's best friend, for this milestone celebration.

For almost a decade, our dedicated volunteers, local businesses and generous community supporters have come together to make a meaningful difference in the lives of people affected by cancer.

Our fundraising supports the McGrath Foundation, cancer services at Rosebud Hospital and broader cancer support initiatives across the Mornington Peninsula.

This special event will bring together approximately 150 guests, including local businesses, community leaders, supporters and friends, for a memorable afternoon of connection, fundraising, raffles and auctions.

We are inviting businesses to partner with us through financial sponsorship, donations of products or services, and raffle or auction prizes.

Our event is about more than raising money. It is about bringing people together, supporting those facing cancer and celebrating what a caring community can achieve.

Imelda Noonan

Dromana Fundraising Ladies Incorporated is a volunteer-led, not-for-profit community organisation based on Victoria's Mornington Peninsula.

Our President and one of our founding members, Imelda Noonan, is a former oncology and palliative care nurse who has been actively involved in community fundraising for over 20 years. Her nursing background has given her a deep understanding of the challenges faced by people affected by cancer and the importance of compassionate care and community support.

Our journey began almost 10 years ago when Dromana Cricket Club wanted to host a Pink Stumps Day in support of the McGrath Foundation. What started as a local fundraising event brought together a wonderful group of women who shared a passion for helping others.

From those beginnings, Dromana Fundraising Ladies has grown into a dedicated community organisation, supported by generous local businesses, volunteers and community members.

Today, our fundraising supports the McGrath Foundation, cancer services at Rosebud Hospital and other initiatives helping people affected by cancer across the Mornington Peninsula.

Alongside our larger fundraising events, we aim to organise smaller community activities each month, creating opportunities for friendship, connection, awareness and support.

As an incorporated, volunteer-run organisation, we take our responsibilities seriously and value the trust placed in us by our sponsors, donors and supporters.

We are proud of our history, the relationships we have built and the difference we continue to make in our community.

We are ordinary local women doing extraordinary things together, driven by compassion, community spirit and a genuine desire to make a difference.
