    BYPASS CTF 2025 is a national-level Capture The Flag (CTF) competition designed to challenge and identify India’s brightest cybersecurity minds.
    The event brings together passionate students who love solving complex puzzles, breaking barriers, and defending systems.
    Organized by a dedicated team of security enthusiasts, BYPASS CTF aims to inspire curiosity, collaboration, and innovation among the next generation of ethical hackers.

    Event Overview:

    The competition will be conducted in two rounds — an online qualifier followed by an onsite grand finale.

    Round 1: Online Qualifier

    • Duration: 36 hours (non-stop CTF)
    • Mode: Online (accessible nationwide)
    • Eligibility: Open to all college students across India
    • Team Size: Individual participation or teams of up to 2 members
    • Format: Jeopardy-style CTF with multiple challenge categories
    • Domains Covered:
      • Web Exploitation
      • Steganography
      • Digital Forensics
      • Reverse Engineering
      • OSINT (Open-Source Intelligence)
      • Cryptography
      • Miscellaneous Challenges

    Top 30 teams from the online leaderboard will qualify for the onsite finals.

    Round 2: Onsite Grand Finale

    • Venue: Army Institute of Technology, Pune
    • Duration: 2 days
    • Format: Live, in-person CTF battle
    • Participants: Top 30 teams from Round 1

    Workshops & Activities:

    Before the main battle, participants will attend interactive workshops by industry experts covering emerging trends, tools, and techniques in cybersecurity.
    Fun, tech-based mini-games and challenges will also be conducted to foster collaboration and excitement before the competition begins.

    Main CTF Battle:

    Teams will compete head-to-head in an intense cybersecurity arena to capture the most flags in the shortest time.
    Each challenge will test a unique skill domain, requiring technical expertise, creativity, and teamwork.

    The team with the highest score on the leaderboard will be crowned BYPASS CTF 2025 Champion .

    Team & Eligibility Guidelines:

    • Open to all college students (undergraduate, postgraduate, or diploma).
    • Inter-college teams are allowed.
    • Inter-specialization teams are allowed.
    • A team may have up to 2 members or participate individually.
    • Participants must have a valid college ID.

    Process & Timeline:

    • Registration Phase: Teams register on Unstop.
    • Round 1 – Online CTF:
      • Duration: 36 hours
      • Mode: Online (link and credentials shared via email)
      • Platform:  CTFd or similar.
    • Evaluation: Based on leaderboard ranking and accuracy of flags captured.
    • Round 2 – Onsite Finale:
      • Top 30 teams invited to AIT Pune.
      • Includes workshops, networking, and the grand finale CTF.

    Rules:

    • Participants must compete using their own accounts; no flag sharing or collusion is allowed.
    • Use of automated tools or scripts that unfairly manipulate the platform is prohibited.
    • Teams must maintain academic integrity and sportsmanship throughout the event.
    • Organizers reserve the right to disqualify any team violating the rules or engaging in unethical behavior.
    • Decisions of the organizers and judges will be final and binding.
    • The top teams may be required to verify their identity and college credentials before prize distribution.

    Judging Criteria:

    • Leaderboard Ranking: Based on total points accumulated.
    • Time Factor: Teams solving challenges faster rank higher in case of a tie.
    • Rule Compliance: Any rule violations will result in penalties or disqualification.

    • Exciting cash prizes, swag, and certificates for top-performing teams.
    • Winners and finalists will receive recognition across Unstop and partner platforms.
