Battle of the South,

About the event

This is a 7v7 women's flag football tournament. The purpose of this event is to help continue to grow the sport. My teammate and I want to help by spreading female opportunities to play. We decided to pick the age of high school girls because many colleges now have flag football as a collegiate sport, and these girls can receive a scholarship. This leads to them paying less in school, and possibly getting a higher education for free. They can use film that they or we get from the event to send to coaches to get noticed.

Mya Quinn

I am a junior in college. I attend Ottawa University. I double major in psychology and sports leadership. I have played flag football since my freshman year in high school, and it changed my life. I have a scholarship to play the sport that I love and get an education.
